When it comes to wedding venues in the Yarra Valley, we are spoiled—like, “how do you even choose?!” levels of spoiled. As a wedding photographer based in Victoria, I’ve had the absolute joy of working at some of the region’s most beautiful spots. A few have become familiar favourites, and others are places I love photographing at every chance I get. Whether you’re newly engaged or deep into venue hunting mode, these five spots are all epic in their own way. Think rolling hills, charming architecture, cozy vibes, and so many perfect photo moments.

1. Stones of the Yarra Valley

2. Inglewood Estate

3. The Farmers Daughter - Weddings + Events

4. Immerse Yarra Valley

5. Acacia Ridge Winery Yarra Valley

If you're a weirdo that likes Brussels Sprouts than The Farmers Daughter - Weddings + Events is probably the wedding venue you're after! All jokes aside it is a family run farm that offers an incredible wedding experience for couples wanting an intimate, down-to-earth celebration that still feels elevated and stylish. It's kinda like having your own private property wedding, only with all the perks and less of the stress. They describe the venue as a blank canvas, you do have complete control and can style the wedding to be exactly what you want, but they also offer coordination and support if needed. I've only shot there one time a couple years ago, so the fact that it's making this list speaks to how great of an experience I had there. With gorgeous ceremony spaces, a charming reception setting, standout catering, and warm experienced staff, this venue makes planning easy and celebrating unforgettable. If you can find out more of their wholesome story HERE

If you're dreaming of a romantic, vineyard wedding with rolling hills, award-winning wine, and breathtaking views, Immerse in the Yarra Valley is the perfect venue. Located just an hour from Melbourne, Immerse blends rustic charm with elegant touches, offering couples a luxurious yet down-to-earth wedding experience in the heart of wine country. I love how versatile this venue is! Like Inglewood Estate you can both get ready at the venue itself, in fact with every wedding I've shot there the couples have done just that. There are three choices for the ceremony location, they have two chapel options (both stunning in their own right) Or there's an open paddock with the rolling hills in the background. I cannot overstate how awesome it is to have TWO great wet weather options, that's very rare and would take a lot of the stress away depending on the time of year. In terms of photo locations we're also spoiled for choice! There is the European inspired driveway for a bit more of an elegant look, a beautiful garden, the vineyard, and there's also the option of heading up to the top of the vineyards for sunset overlooking the Yarra Valley. To top it all off, the reception space is also epic with equally great food. Overall Immerse Yarra Valley is a stunner of a venue and should be on your list to check out!

If you’re searching for a wedding venue in the Yarra Valley that delivers on views, atmosphere, and unforgettable charm, Acacia Ridge Winery Yarra Valley should be at the top of your list. With panoramic views over the vineyard and the majestic Great Dividing Range, rustic elegance, and a relaxed country vibe, it’s no wonder this family-run winery is a favourite among couples (and photographers) looking for an authentic and beautiful celebration. My personal two favourite aspects of the venue is the restored 1850s Miner’s Hut (which is available to chill in during the wedding day) and the GORGEOUS clear roof marquee, adorned with chandeliers and fairy lights. From a photographers perspective marquee's are awesome, as during the night when we've whipped out our lighting gear, it's easier to get nice soft and well lit photos due to the white walls that bounce our light around. But more importantly for you, it's absolutely beautiful and you can even see the stars through the clear roof. I haven't seen it done before, but the marquee would be a nice wet weather backup too. The wedding coordinator Suzie is also a gem of a human, and the rest of the staff are amazing too. I cannot wait to return to this venue, maybe you could make this dream come true?
